3) Status and fundingThe Lens Chamber of Commerce, a key regional logistics player, ensures the overall management, development and enhancement of the portal. The Regional Chamber of Commerce, alongside the Regional Infrastructure Department (DRE) and the Nord-Pas de Calais Region, plays an active role in this initiative, in partnership with all of the Chambers of commerce in the Nord-Pas de Calais Region. 4) Management and Coordinating TeamThe Major Economic Projects Department of the Lens Chamber of Commerce, in charge of developing the EURALOGISTIC centre of logistics excellence, has steered the initiative launched in 2006 reporting to Mr Edouard Magnaval, the Lens Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Mr Patrick Leleu, the Services Vice-Chairman and Mr Eric Berton, the Chief Executive. Laurent Desprez, Project Manager Town planning engineer and holder of a DEA degree, he first started up a logistics consultancy firm before developing a centre of excellence for 8 years in the Aquitaine Region as Economic Services and New Technologies Manager of an EPCI. He has been in charge of the Major Project Department at Lens Chamber of Commerce for 5 years and is tasked with developing the various strands of the EURALOGISTIC centre of excellence.
Jenny Leleux, Portal Coordinator This business graduate joined the department in 2006. Today, she is in charge of the daily running of the portal and updating content. Within the Lens Chamber of Commerce, she is also involved in developing and enhancing the EURALOGISTIC centre of excellence.
Jérôme Bouillier, Technical Manager This computer specialist manages the technical administration of the system, set up on a dedicated server.
